  • Macel saddles are built with the horses locomotion and the riders seat in mind.
  • They are hand made in France and can be customized with any specifications you desire. .
  • The stirrup bars are set back further to allow the riders seat to fall long and to allow the pelvis to sit in a true neutral position.
  • They have no unnecessary padding allow the horses shoulders to move with greater range and muscles to develop with any restrictions.
  • Our saddles are truly versatile, close contact which allows your horse to move freely and built for the perfect seat for the rider.

Each saddle is produced by one craftsman and ensures intimate knowledge and total control over the quality of the final product. French saddlery is the result of traditional craftsmanship which is envied throughout the world. It is crucial to preserve it, protect its secrets and above all, to resist the temptation of cheaper outsourcing.

Fitting Service.

  • When purchasing a secondhand saddle we charge a consultation fee of £110,00 together with call-out costs.
  • If you cannot keep the appointment, you will have to cancel the appointment at least 48 hours in advance. If the appointment is cancelled later, we will charge you half the consultation fee.
  • Do not let the appointment go ahead with lameness or a horse that is being treated by, for example, a physiotherapist.
  • It would be nice if at the start of the appointment the horse is in the stable and ready for the appointment. So we can get started right away!
